Kathleen M. Jensen, 96, of East Moline, formerly of Rock Island, died Thursday, December 14, 2017 at home.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 a.m. Monday at St. Anne Catholic Church, 555 18th Ave., East Moline, with visitation from 10-11 Monday at the church.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made in care of St. Anne Catholic Church or Genesis Hospice.

Kathleen was born in Rock Island on November 17, 1921, a daughter of Frank A. and Freida A. Lindhorst Murrin.  She married Rollo Jensen on May 9, 1942 in Rock Island.  He died in 1971.

Kathleen worked for the City of Rock Island for 30 plus years.  She enjoyed playing BINGO, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church, East Moline and former member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Janet (Dennis) Jacobs, East Moline; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Gerald (Patsy) Murrin, Lombard, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, son, Brian Jensen and brother, Francis A. Murrin.
