Kathleen M. Perry, 74, of Rock Island, died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Bettendorf.

A memorial visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.  Private inurnment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Kathleen Fluegel was born May 24, 1942 in Rock Island, a daughter of Albert and Madelaine Boens Fluegel.  She married John D. Perry on May 4, 1963 at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

In early years, Kathleen had worked at Bituminous Casualty Co., Rock Island.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Rock Island and the Dystonia Disorder Support Group.  Kathy enjoyed fishing and sewing.

Survivors include her husband, John; daughter, Lisa Perry; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kristin Perry; granddaughter, Maddy Perry, all of Rock Island; sister, Karen (Edward) Ferkel, Poplar Grove, Ill.; sister-in-law, Debbie (Carl) Blum, East Moline; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
