Kathryn J. Anders, 79, of Davenport, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2016 at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics.  Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.  Visitation will be from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Kathryn was born in Iowa City on February 28, 1937, a daughter of Alfred R. Sr. and Gladys M. Anderson Kroeger.  She married Robert Anders in Rock Island on May 17, 1957.  He died March 11, 2014.

Survivors include her children, Kenneth, Steven (Lois), Keith, David, Jeffrey, John, Joseph (Melanie) and Scott (Anna) Anders and Robin (Roger) Boche; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Bogle and Imogene Crow; and brother, Alfred R. Kroeger Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, Lou and Louise Bogle and Gloria, Alice M. and Janet A. Kroeger and brothers, Robert Bogle and Charles, Carl and Alfred C. Kroeger.
