Kathy N. Muller, 67, of Coal Valley, passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at her home. Services for Mrs. Muller will be 10 am, Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be Monday from 4 pm to 7 pm at the funeral home. Private inurnment will be in the Rock Island National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kathy was born on February 1, 1954 in Fort Benning, Georgia, a daughter of Trudle and Arnell (Gosa) Baughn. She married David Muller on March 3, 2004 in Dubuque, Iowa. Kathy had worked at Schultzies Place in Moline until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed shopping, going to the casino, quilting, gardening, feeding the birds, and her garden gnomes. She was an avid collector of many things.

Survivors include her husband, David; parents, Trudle and Arnell Baughn, Coal Valley; children, Pat (Cathy) Gustafson, Tennessee, Danny (Kristina) Gustafson, South Carolina,  David J. (Kumok) Gustafson, Geneseo, Eric (Barbi) Gustafson, Moline, Amy (Brad) Beeding, East Moline, Laura (John) Belville, Silvis; stepchildren, Teddy Don Storm, Bettendorf, Donald Carl (Bridget) Muller, Moline; stepdaughter in law, Beth Muller, Maquoketa; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Jerry (Nancy) Baughn, Elizabeth (Ken) Williams, Theresa Serrano, Ted Baughn, Donna (Randy) Bryant, and Tammy Baughn.

Kathy was preceded in death by a stepson, David Patrick Muller; brother, Anthony Baughn; grandson, Mark Anthony Gustafson; and a niece, Gerri Michelle.
