KC Lewis, 89, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away Monday November 29, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.

Funeral services are 11:00am Friday December 10, 2021 at Harvest Time Family Worship Center, 636 Kirkwood Blvd, Davenport, IA, with visitation from 10:00am to service time. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

KC was born on July 20, 1932 in Booze, Mississippi, the son of James Lewis and Irene Hayes. He married Elnora Summage, she preceded him in death in 2016.

Mr. Lewis had been employed at John Deere as a shakeout operator, until his retirement. He was a devoted member of Harvest Time Family Worship Center and loved spending time with his family.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Virgie Scott, Robin Dixon, Jimmy Lawless, Don (Kimberly) Lawless, Lonnie Lewis, Timothy (Donna) Lewis, Elwanda Lewis, Keaonna Lewis, Jerry Lewis, Martha Ann Lewis, Barry Lee Lewis, Carrie Mae Lewis, KC Lewis Jr., Lucille Lewis; sister, Jennyruth Lewis; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elnora; parents and aunt, Hattie Hayes.
