Obituary

From Kelly:

“On Sunday, September 6, 2026, I lost my battle to liver cancer.

I was Born October 7, 1971, to Raymond and Arlene (Nickerson) Maynard. I attended Jordan Catholic schools from kindergarten to 5th grade where then I transferred to the Rock Island School district. In June of 1989 I graduated Rock Island High School.

My first job at 16 was 11th Street McDonald’s. The day after high school I got a job at Short Hills Country Club. Staring in the pool concessions and making my way into the bakery dept. I had many jobs, some at the same time. I was working Short Hills while also working at McDonald’s and Alfano’s. In 1994 I began working at Rudy’s Tacos inside the Milan bowling lanes. I worked there till they closed in 2008. In 2011, Rudy’s reopened in Milan and I went there. In October of 2024 I went to work at the Eldridge Rudy's. All together I proudly say I was with Rudy’s for 30 years.

I married Eric Fuller in July 2005. Making over 20 years of good times, great memories and fun. With LOTS of laughs. I was a big music lover. Anyone from Toby Keith to Prince to Yelawolf to Lionel. Music was life.

I was a HUGE White Sox and Philadelphia Eagles fan. Those were my teams. I hardly ever missed an Eagles game on TV. My favorite place on earth was Estes Park Colorado. We made many trips there, each time discovering new things. To listen to the Elk bugle was my thing.

I am in heaven now spending time with those who passed before me. reunited again with my father. Hopefully we are going out fishing.

I leave behind my wonderful husband Eric Fuller. My mother Arlene Maynard. My brother Kyle Maynard. My nieces and nephews who were loved like my own children. Krystin (Delanie) Pearson, Keli (Camden) Whitenack, Kiani (Myles McCabe) Pearson, Kamdyn (Hannah Sheffey) Pearson, Michael (Payton) Maynard. and several great nieces and nephew. Also leaving behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, etc. I also leave behind my fur boys Cash and Cane. Mommy will miss you terribly.

I would like to thank all of #Kellysheroes who followed me on this cancer journey. All of you kept me strong.”
