Kelly W. Wynn, 69, of Moline, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at his home.Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Burial is at the Reynolds Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Memorials may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline, or to the Moline Public Schools Foundation.

Kelly Warren Wynn was born November 25, 1944 in Coal Valley, the son of Dale and Marian Hahn Wynn. He married Sharon McGinnis on June 4, 1966 in Illinois City.

Kelly graduated from Rockridge High School in 1962. He received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Augustana College, from where he later received his Master's degree. He taught math in the Moline Public School District for 37 years, teaching at John Deere Junior High and Moline High School. Kelly also coached multiple sports in the district including football, basketball and track. He retired in 2003.

He was a long-time active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Moline. Kelly had coached ASA Girls Softball and was a member of the Illinois Retired Teachers Association. He enjoyed watching high school sports and spending time at the Two Rivers YMCA, Moline, but his greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Michael Van Hyfte, Birmingham, Mich.; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Shawn and Sara Wynn, Moline; grandchildren, Emily, Nathaniel, Jacob and Abigail Van Hyfte, and Zachary, A.J. and Charlotte Wynn; and sister and brother-in-law, Myrna and Delano Forsythe, Vicksburg, Mich. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Joyce Travis.
