Kenneth "Ken" G. Davis, 69, of Milan, passed away Sunday September 18, 2016 at his home.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be left to St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan, QC Animal Welfare Center, Milan or St. Jude's Childrens Hospital.

Ken was born on April 2, 1947 in Rock Island, the son of George T. and Billie M. (Porter) Davis. He married Kay Crull on April 2, 1965.

Mr. Davis had been employed at John Deere Plow Planter as a assembler until his retirement.

He was a member of St. Ambrose Church, Milan, UAW Local 434 and Milan Auxiliary Police Department for 9 years. Ken enjoyed spending time with family, woodworking and watching Nascar.

Survivors include his wife, Kay; sons and daughters in law, Joseph (Dottie) Davis, Moline, Roderick (Laura) Davis, Taylor Ridge; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and a brother, Dennis Anderson, Rock Island.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James G. Davis and nephew, Johnny Anderson.
