Kendall Lavell DeLaRosa , 20, of Davenport, IA, passed away Friday April 9, 2021 in Davenport.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 23, at Word of Life Church, 1804 7th Ave., Rock Island. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 22, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island, IL. Current public gathering guidelines are to be observed by those attending. Memorials may be made to the family.

Kendall was born January 19, 2001 in Rock Island, a son of Aaron DeLaRosa and Desiree Wayne. He graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 2019.

He had worked at PPG Industries and was a detailer for Kunes Auto Dealership. He was preparing to enlist in the U.S. Air Force.

Some of Kendall's favorite times were those spent with family, especially his little brothers whom he loved dearly. He enjoyed playing the guitar, songwriting, and working out at the gym.

Those left to cherish his memory are his father, Aaron M. De La Rosa, Davenport; mother, Desiree Fisher, Milan; siblings, Carston and Kendrick Fisher and Korde DeLaRosa, all of Milan, Mia DeLaRosa, Rock Island; paternal grandparents, Olivia and Gary Taylor, Rock Island; maternal grandparents, Michael and Deborah Wayne, Milan and Darcy Johnson, Viola, IL; uncles, Chavaris Benson, Minnesota, Andrico DeLaRosa, Rock Island, Andrell DeLaRosa, Davenport, and Mario Welch, Moline; aunt, Danielle Christiansen, Florida; special cousin, Elise DeLaRosa, and a host of additional family.

Kendall was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal great grandparents, and his aunt, Jasmine Benson.
