Kenneth L. Bobb, 84, of Rock Island passed away on January 2, 2023 at ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, Moline.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1:00 to 4:00 pm on Saturday, January 7th, 2023 at First Lutheran Church, Rock Island in the parish house . Private graveside services will be held at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family.

Ken was born on May 10,1938 in Moline, IL. He graduated from United Township High School. Ken married Karen Mills and they raised 3 children together before her passing on March 26, 1992. He then went on to marry Joan Francis, and she also preceded him in death.

Ken worked in sales and interior design for Montgomery Ward for many years. He enjoyed painting, crafting, and spending time with his dogs. He was very involved with is church, including helping with Sunday School and the banner committee.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Bryan, Greg, and Andrea Bobb; granddaughter, Ava Grace; 4 stepchildren; and many step grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Warren Johnson.
