Kenny Rae was born 64 years ago in Nashville, Tennessee, a son of Kenneth Sr. and Aunalee Ratliff Herron . He was raised in Little Rock, Arkansas. Kenny loved his family- his children, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and dogs with all he had. His truest love was his wife, Jacquetta who he loved for over 25 years since they were teenagers. They wed on May 5, 2007. Kenny never asked for help, despite always helping others, but would always appreciate those who would lend him a helping hand. Kenny could always be counted on for a strong sense of humor, never missing the dinner bell, and his Ralph Lauren matching horses. Kenny loved sharing with others whether that be a helpful piece of advice, a great clothing bargain, and always his care. Kenny's generous spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his friends and family and in his final act of giving to others in need through donation.
He was a member of the Fairview Missionary Baptist Church in Hensley, Arkansas. He enjoyed building race cars as well as watching NASCAR.
Kenny was a self-employed master electrician.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Jacquetta Herron, Rock Island, IL; son, Chase Stephens; daughters and sons-in-law, Rachel and Charles Owen, Bettendorf, IA and Meghan and DJ Jarvis, Rock Island, IL; six grandchildren; brother, Gregory (Ginger) Herron, Little Rock, AR; niece, Aunna Webster, Little Rock, AR; honorary parents, Buddy and Judy Sellers; and his two dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy Sanders.
