Kenneth E. Spidle, 92, of Milan, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at UPH-Trinity, Rock Island.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to mass.  Burial will be at National Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to St. Pius X Catholic Church, Rock Island.

Kenneth was born on January 10, 1926 in LaBelle, MO, the son of Thomas Spidle and Mary Shepherd.  He was employed as a machinist at John Deere.  Ken was a proud World War II and Korean War Veteran.  He was an avid bowler for years, receiving multiple rewards.  Ken was much loved by his friend and family, and enjoyed life and always had a smile for everyone.

Kenneth is survived by his two sons, Russel (Becky) Carlyle, and Ronald (Rhonda) Carlyle; grandson, Ronald (Terri) Carlyle Jr.; the apple of his eye was his great great granddaughter, Sophia Carlyle; and many nieces and nephews and their families.  He was preceded in death by his parents; spouses, Lucille and Alice Spidle; and multiple siblings.

May he rest in peace in the loving arms of Jesus! He will be greatly missed and forever loved!
