Kenneth "Ken" W. Williams, 90, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at Heartland Healthcare Center, Moline.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Milan.

Ken was born on July 27, 1928 in Saginaw, MI, the son of Eldred and Blanche (Petcher) Williams.  He married Nancy Koenig on September 9, 1950 in Rock Island.  Ken worked at Alcoa as the chief chemist and retired in 1989.  He enjoyed going fishing and camping, most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.

Ken is survived by his wife of 68 years, Nancy Williams, Rock Island; daughter, Debra (Ron) Anderson, Waterloo, IA; son, Dan (Kathy) Williams, Eden Prairie, MN; grandchildren, John McMullIn, Carrie (Dan) Skirvin, Melissa Anderson, Kim (Matt) Michlin, and Jenny (Clay) Kilber; and great grandchildren, Emma, Addy, Eidan, Ellie, Jonah, Nolan, Annika, and Mason.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bernard Williams.
