Kenneth R. Welch, 61, of Rock Island, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rock Island.

Private services for Kenny will be at a later date. Inurnment will be in the Andalusia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Anthony's Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Kenneth R. Welch was born on March 19, 1962, in Rock Island, a son of Edgar and Ruby (Prescott) Welch.

Kenny loved music and the outdoors. He loved his family and friends.

Survivors include a son, Phillip Oligmueller; siblings, Joey (Renee) Welch, Orion, Gary (Wilma) Welch, Interlachen, FL., Rex Welch (Pam Jenkins), Gilbert, AZ., Leatha Chapdelaine, Rock Island, and Shirley Welch, Rock Island.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael Welch; and a sister, Carolyn Weikert.
