Kenneth L. Wishmeyer, 82, of Cordova, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial will be at Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made in care of Toys for Tots.

Kenneth was born June 19, 1933 in Wayne County, Iowa, a son of Leo and Beula Bonner Wishmeyer. He married Peggy L. Smith on February 7, 1958 in Moline. She died June 13, 1996.

Kenneth was a salesman for John Deere Company, retiring in 1986. While working for John Deere he also worked as an EMT driving ambulances for several area companies. He lastly worked as a manager for W & H Services for twenty plus years.

Kenneth was a HAM radio operator and musician in his spare time. He enjoyed target shooting and bartering. He thoroughly enjoyed getting a good deal. Kenneth was also a devoted grandpa and great-grandpa.

Survivors include his three daughters, Kim (Howard) Palmer, Moline, Rhonda Seabloom, Moline and Donna (Mark) Blick, Cordova; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Carol Wymer, Seymour, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and brother, Jim Wishmeyer.
