Kevin L. Einfeldt, 63, of Illinois City, passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024 at his home.

A memorial gathering will be held from 5:00PM to 8:00 PM Sunday June 9, 2024 at the Muscatine American Legion, 110 S Houser St, Muscatine, IA.

Kevin was born on August 19, 1960 in Muscatine, the son of Daniel Einfeldt and Nadine (Dunker) Einfeldt. He married Malinda "Lynn" Lewis on December 22, 1984 in Muscatine.

He retired from Union Tank Car as head of Safety and Environmental Officer.

Kevin loved spending time with family and friends, playing guitar, listening to music, fishing and hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Lynn; son, Trevor Einfeldt; grandchildren, Nariah, Nevaeh and Navarro; sister, Angie Einfeldt and nephew, Noah Long.

He was preceded in death by his parents and paternal and maternal grandparents.

The family wanted to thank the staff at Unity Point Hospice the exceptional care they provided Kevin.
