Kevin T. Kelly, Sr., 59, of Davenport, passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 at his home.

Graveside services ,with military honors, will be 11:00 am Monday, October 3rd, at National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Those wishing to attend are to meet at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 -7th Ave., Rock Island at 10:30 am Monday. Memorials may be made to the family or to the Sisters of Humility, Davenport.

Kevin was born October 7, 1956 in Rock Island, a son of Joseph P., Jr. and Mary L. "Molly" Schmitz Kelly. He graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 1975. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. Kevin and Lelia Ramirez were united in marriage on December 26, 1981 in Rock Island.

Kevin owned and operated several businesses in the Quad-cities. He enjoyed baking, cooking, and adored his grandchildren. Kevin and his family are very grateful for the kindness and care from V.A. and also from the Sisters of Humility, Davenport.

Surviving are his wife, Lelia, of Davenport; children, Mark A. Cook, St. Louis, MO, Kevin T. Kelly, Jr. , Rory D. Kelly and Megan I. (Travis) Kelly-Willits and Casey J. Kelly, all of Davenport; granddaughters, Isabel R. and Ainsley L. Kelly; step-grandsons, Kobe R. and Tyler W. Willits; brothers and sisters, Joseph P. (Donna) Kelly III, Rock Island, Kathleen A. Bergstrom, East Moline, Nancy L. (Dennis) Bradley, Galesburg, Ruth A. Ryan, Rock Island, Evelyn C. Kelly, Chicago, Molly Jo (David) Campbell, Dunnellon, FL, Patrick H. Kelly, Minneapolis, MN, Christine (Thomas) DeMuynck, Rock Island, and Brandon L. (Jennifer) Kelly, East Moline; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents Joseph, Jr. and Molly Kelly, brother, Casey J. Kelly; sister, Nora B. Kelly; nephews, Dennis L. Bradley, Jr. and David Harker; brother-in-law, David Bergstrom.
