Kevin Delany Rawls, 50, of Rock Island, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Per his wishes cremation will follow the service.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Kevin was born on April 27, 1965 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, the son of Kennith Johnson, Jack Hall, and Barnetta Rawls.  He was employed as a supervisor at Economic Growth, Rock Island.

Leaving to cherish his memory: Stephanie McClain; children, Ebony, Ericka, Enisha, and Eshawanda; siblings, Stephon (Michelle) Walker, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Darryl (Debra Johnson, Atlanta, GA, Kyria (Richard) McIntosh, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Tandrina Johnson, Albaney, GA; eight grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and a special friend Henry Arrington.  He was preceded in death by his mother and sister, Kennetta Johnson Hicks.
