LaDonna Marie Perkins, 69, of Andalusia, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Heartland Health Care Center, Moline.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service.  Burial will be at the National Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Donna was born on September 13, 1947 in Cedar Rapids, IA, the daughter of H. Dean and Hilma (Von Behren) Weede.  She married Wayne Perkins on August 2, 1980 in Rock Island.  Through Donna's life she was employed at Snelling and Snelling Personnel Consultants, Adel Wholesalers, antique dealer, and as a homemaker on the farm.  She loved her family, animals, and antiquing.  Donna's favorite memories were traveling with her husband in their airstream trailer.  She was a master of puzzles, especially crosswords.

Donna is survived by her husband of 36 years, Wayne Perkins; children, Rick (Carolyn) Deere, Julie (Kevin) Mueller, and Thomas (Kim) Perkins; grandchildren, Amber Deere, Joshua (Porshe) Deere, Ryan Bell, Andrew (Miranda) Bell, Joel Deere, Tanner Perkins, Zachary Perkins, and Aiden Perkins; great grandchildren, Archer Deere, Scarlett Bell, and Finn Deere; brothers, Gary (Jan) Weede and Roger (Pat) Weede; sister-in-law, Jane Weede; and several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Nicholas Weede.
