Lana J. Potter, 64, of Keithsburg, Ill., passed away Sunday, June 9, 2019 at home.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, Andalusia Community Baptist Church, Andalusia, Ill. Inurnment will be at a later date in Florida. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family to be designated later.

Lana was born September 30, 1954 in Pensacola, Florida, a daughter of Roscoe "Shorty" and Hettie K. Matthews Chaffin. She married Gerald "Jerry" Potter in 1969 in Rock Island.

She was a salesperson for many years and also worked for the University of Illinois Home Extension office.

Lana enjoyed decorating her home, gardening, and crafts. She loved her family and sharing time together. She will be greatly missed by all.

Surviving are her husband, Jerry, of Keithsburg; children, Tammy Mowder, Keithsburg, Jennifer Florian, Oswego, Jason Potter, Moline and John Potter, Davenport; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Lana was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Pam Guyse.
