Lance A. Ward, 37, of Rock Island, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island. Services for Lance will be 10 am, Saturday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to the family.

Lance was born on October 4, 1977 in Cleveland, Ohio. He married Carrie Foster on November 24, 2007 in Cleveland, OH. Lance worked as a machinist for various companies in the Quad Cities. He was a member of Agape Christian Fellowship, Rock Island. He enjoyed music and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Carrie; children, Ayanna Ward and Allister Ward; mother, Alicia Jones, Cleveland, OH.; father, Tony Jones, East Moline; siblings, Erica Jenkins, North Carolina and Corey Tate, Rock Island.
