Obituary
Larry V. Fisher, 72, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Aspen Rehabilitation and Health Care, Silvis. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be one-hour prior. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Memorials may be made to Bethel Church, Rock Island.
Larry was born November 27, 1949, in Rock Island, a son of Marvin and Sylvia (See) Fisher. He married Genevieve VanDyke on December 5, 1997 in Rock Island. He was an avid Elvis fan and liked to collect memorabilia. Larry also enjoyed watching movies and wrestling.
Survivors include his wife, Genevieve; stepdaughter, Lisa Woo; grandchildren, Emma and Jordan Stephenson; great-grandchildren, Brylee and Cristiana; brother, Raymond Richard "Dick" Boos; best friend, Jayson Chadwick; caregiver, Mary Norington; several nieces and nephews; and fur friends, Eggo, Buddy, Sugar, Kobe, and Boss.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; stepson, Brian Wexell; and siblings, Dorothy Morey, Robert Boos, and Gary Fisher.
