Obituary

Rock Island. Funeral Services will be at 12 pm, Thursday, September 25, 2014 at The Word Church, Rock Island. Visitation is 4 pm to 7 pm, Wednesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island Larry Fulton, 60, of Rock Island, died Friday, September 19, 2014, at Unity Point Health-Trinity. Larry was born April 14, 1954 in Rock Island the son of Helen Carruthers and the late Aaron Fulton. He graduated from Rock Island High School and attended Black Hawk College. As an adult, he worked as a laborer at various companies IH CASE, American General, Servus Rubber, Oscar Mayer and recently helping his brother with the hot dog stand. Larry was a very active, happy, fun loving, humorous that loved spending time with grandchildren and family. He enjoyed bowling, playing cards, riding motorcycles, watching game shows, horse races, and going to the casino. He was united with his high school sweetheart in marriage, Gail Rice for 35 years. He is survived by his wife Gail Fulton; mother Helen Carruthers; daughters Yolanda Fulton and Evonnda Fulton; grandsons Sayvonte McWilliams, Aiden Figueroa; great-grandson Sa'mir McWilliams; brothers Michael (Patricia) Fulton, Samuel (Victoria) Fulton; sisters Gloria (Rodney) Robinson, Vanessa Fulton and Donna Stoner; special friends Lonnie Boyd and Tyrone Babers and host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

Preceeded in death by Aaron Fulton.
