IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Larry
McQueen
March 21, 1963 – December 24, 2025
Larry "Mac Dirty" McQueen, 62, of East Moline, Illinois, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy built on family, hustle, wisdom, and love. Though his passing was sudden, we take comfort in knowing he is now at peace.
MAC was more than a nickname; it was a presence. He was born on March 21, 1963, in Rock Island, Illinois, to Rudolph and Helen J. (Talley) McQueen. He was a devoted father, proud grandfather, entrepreneur, and loyal friend. MAC was a counselor to many, a trusted voice, and a man people leaned on. As a world-class chef, he fed people with passion and purpose, turning meals into moments and gatherings into memories. His hustle was matched only by his love for family.
To know MAC was to feel supported, respected, and encouraged. His children are forever grateful for his guidance, friendship, and unwavering love. MAC's legacy will continue to live on through those he inspired.
Survivors include his brother, Jeff Tyler; sister, Bridgette Leonard; children, Marcus (Jami) McQueen, Darneshia McQueen, Dominique McQueen, Marshuna McQueen, and Tierra Lucas; grandchildren, Mariyah, Marcus Jr., Maliyah, Makiyah, Makhari, Journei, and Lyric; special friend, Victoria; stepchildren, Carson, Christopher, Brandon, and Travon; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
