Larry E. Trout, 69, of Rock Island, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at his home. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island is assisting the family. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Larry was born on August 1, 1954, in Rock Island, a son of Ellry and Mildred (Smallwood) Trout. Mr. Trout worked for Roadway Express for over 30 years.

Survivors include his brothers, Timothy Trout, Davenport, Ellry Trout Jr., Hillsdale, IL.  and Russell Trout, Davenport; several nieces and nephews; and his cat, "Alesha".

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Martin Trout and Clarence Trout.
