Larry A. Weston, 74, of Andalusia, passed away with his family by his side on Monday, July 4, 2016 at home. Per Larry's wishes, cremation rites will be accorded.  A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Andalusia.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of the family.

Larry was born on April 12, 1942 in Griswold, Iowa, a son of John A. and Caroline C. Lawson Weston.  He married Patricia Smith on February 8, 1964 at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan.  Larry was employed by John Deere PDC, Milan.  He retired following 32 years of service.  After retirement Larry owned and operated Larry's Canvas Shop.

Larry was member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Andalusia and the Andalusia Lions Club.  He was an avid outdoorsman who loved boating and fishing.  In his spare time, Larry  also broke and trained horses.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia; sons, Scot Weston, Coyne Center and Rodney (Samantha) Weston, Moline; a granddaughter, Rylee Weston; siblings, John Weston, Sherrard, Roy Weston, New York, Connie Plumb, Council Bluffs, Iowa and Douglas Weston, Audubon, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerald, Cecil and Moyne Weston and a sister, Shirley Doolittle.
