Larry E. Wilson, 80, of Milan, died Friday, January 27, 2017 at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Bettendorf.  Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island.  Memorials may be made in care of Bethany for Children and Families, Moline.

Larry was born in Rock Island on February 16, 1936, the son of Harold and Marguerite Bowermaster Wilson.  He married Shirley Lyons on June 30, 1956 in Rock Island.

Larry started working for Reynolds Manufacturing Company in Milan and Rock Island in 1961.  In 1996, Larry and Shirley became the owner and operator of the business.

Larry loved family, fishing and working.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shirley Wilson, Milan; children (and spouses), Debera DuBree, Chicago, Larry M. (Liz) Wilson, Rock Island, Marty D. Wilson, West Palm Beach, Fla. and Marcy E. (Souk) Kongkousonh, East Moline; grandchildren, Eric, Carly, Steven, Travis, Jenna, Steven W., Joe, Abigail and Micah; and great-grandchildren, Evan and Liam DuBree.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
