Laura A. Lundberg, 70, of Milan, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2024.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Avenue, Milan from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Laura was born January 30, 1954, in Rock Island, to Alfred P. Sr. and Donna M. (Tracey) Huber. She was a proud graduate of the Villa de Chantal. Laura married Jay A. Lundberg on May 1, 1976, in Rock Island.

Laura dedicated her professional life to education, serving as a special education teacher's aide at Rock Island High School, where she enjoyed making a positive impact on her students' lives. Laura was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Milan. She enjoyed playing cards, reading, traveling with friends and family, and spending her summers by the pool.

Those left to cherish Laura's memory include her husband of 47 years, Jay; daughter, Angela (Greg) Costello; son, Joe (WanWan Xu) Lundberg; grandchildren, Ben, Liv & Charlotte Costello and Will Lundberg; and brother, Alfred "Butch" Huber (Jean).

Laura was preceded in death by her parents.
