Laurance E. " Larry" Dohler, 83, of California, Mo., formerly of Milan, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 in California, Mo.  Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 4 ^th Ave. E., Milan.  Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline.  Memorials may be made in care of the American Lung Association.

Laurance was born on September 30, 1934 in Irving, Ill., a son of Laurance J. and Jewell (Logsdon) Dohler.  He married Annalee M. Pauwels on June 11, 1955 in Milan.  Annalee passed away on December 22, 2007.  Larry worked his whole life as a farmer.  He loved spending time with his family and working on the farm.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Sandra Dohler (Steve Foster), Milan and Steven Dohler, Calilfornia, Mo.; grandchildren, Alex (Hope) Boultinghouse, Travis Boultinghouse (Sydney Rusk), Rock Island; Katelynn (Brett Holdt) Rogers, Rocky Mount, Mo; Kacie Dohler, California, Mo; 4 great grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annalee and great granddaughter, Maddilynn Boultinghouse
