Laurence "Larry" Heimann, 68, of Rock Island, passed away Wednesday July 28, 2021 at Illini Restorative Care, Silvis.

Funeral services will be 10am Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 5:00pm Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.

Larry was born on July 28, 1953 in Rock Island, the son of Laurence and Barbara (Habr) Heimann. He was a graduate of Alleman High School and later Blackhawk College.

Mr. Heimann had been employed at John Deere Seeding Division for over 37 years retiring in 2013.

Larry loved listening to music, going to concerts, attending flea markets, antique shows, auctions, and estate sales.

He will be deeply missed by his longtime partner, Kathy Peterson, Rock Island; sister, Barbara Heimann, Minneapolis, Minn. and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Barbara.
