Laurene McKay Fausett, 93, of Andalusia, was called home by her Lord on Friday March 27, 2015 at her home.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge, with visitation one hour prior to services at the church. Burial will be at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Taylor Ridge. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan, IL. Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge.

Laurene was born September 20, 1921 to Robert and Clara McKay. She married Harold W. Fausett on September 18, 1946. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1989.

The most important thing to Laurene was her family. She was always wanting to do for others and never worried about herself all the way to the end. She was a lifetime member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Taylor Ridge.

She leaves behind her three children, Robert (Sandi) Fausett, Aledo, David Fausett and Vickie Fausett Powell, both of Andalusia; 8 grandchildren, Bob, Kelly, Ashley, Brooke, Shelbe, Mindy, Lachelle and Brenton; 15 great-grandchildren; and many family and friends, who she loved dearly.

Laurene was preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Michael Fausett; and 2 brothers, Harold and Delmar McKay.
