LaVonti Dyrell Gray , 28, of Davenport, passed away Tuesday December 3, 2019 in Davenport.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. (noon) Friday, December 27,  at Greater Antioch Baptist Church, Rock Island, with visitation at the church one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Arrangements are entrusted to Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island.

LaVonti was born August 10, 1991 in Rock Island, Illinois, a son of Shirley Gray and John Bragg. He graduated from Rock Island High School, Class of 2010, and Blackhawk College Commercial Driving Program.

Surviving are his mother and stepfahter, Shirley Gray Rush and Louis Rush, Davenport; father, John Bragg, Kansas City, MO; children, Jaheem Jomoud Thorpe,  LaVeigha Denise Gray, LaVonti Dyrelle Gray, Dastanee La'Shelle Monae Gray and Lyric Danielle Gray; maternal grandmother, Luether Gray, Rock Island; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnnie Bragg, Rock Island; sisters and brother, LaWana Gray, LaQuana Gray, Adrianna Gray, Lakishawanna Gray and Keileow Gray; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family; and special friend, LaToya Thorpe.

LaVonti was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, L.C. Robinson, Uncles, James Greery and Ralph Gray; aunt, Susie B. Gray; and cousins, De'Mar Bester and Willis Gray.
