Lawrence "Brick" Johnson, 64, of Davenport, passed away Friday February 22, 2019 in Rock Island at his sister's home.

A Memorial service will be 1:00pm Friday at Wheelan Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Rock Island. Visitation will be from 12:00pm to service time at the funeral home.

Lawrence was born on February 12, 1955 in Springfield, IL, the son of Lawrence Johnson and Rosemary Gamble.

Survivors include his father and step mother, Lawrence and Holli (Holtan) Johnson, Moline; children, Nicholas, Janissa and Erica; siblings, Patricia Johnson, Cheryl Harrington, Mark Johnson, Jessica Rains, Michelle Walach, Sammy (Amber) Lewis, Kevin (Alissa) Gamble, Waneta Gamble,  Michael (Sara) Mack, Melody Dagget, Gayla Holtan, Donald Holtan, Christopher (Linsey) Holtan, Rodney Johnson, Randy Libby; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosemary; brothers, Lawrence "Jimmie" Johnson, Kenneth "Mack" Johnson and Thomas Gamble.
