Leann Crandall-Carothers, 55, of Milan, passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A memorial visitation will be from 5 to 6 pm, Thursday at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials may be made to her family.

Leann was born on October 19, 1967, in Ft. Dodge, Iowa, a daughter of Donald and Sharon (Anderson) Crandall. She married William Carothers in Rock Island. Leann graduated from Rockridge High School and La James Beauty Academy. She was a free spirit who loved music, dancing, fishing, arts and crafts, and loving with her whole heart.

She is survived by William Carothers, Rock Island; mother, Sharon Crandall, Milan; daughter, Abigail Carothers (Clayton Collins), Rock Island; son, Alexander Carothers, Rock Island; grandchildren, Isabelle, Brock and Leia; brother, William (Kimberly) Crandall, Rock Island; nephews, Samuel and Lucas; her partner, Tom Weaver, Milan.

Leann was preceded by her father; a son, Ashton; and her grandparents.
