Leon D. "Rabbit" Teague, 73, of Davenport, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025, at Harmony of Davenport.

Leon was born on September 25, 1951, in Rock Island, a son of James and Sharline (Harrington) Teague. He graduated from Rock Island High School and attended trade school. He worked at John Deere and Goodwill before retiring. Leon loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing, and hunting. Leon loved animals. He was also a huge sports fan and cheered on the Lakers and White Sox. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren.

Those left to honor Leon's memory include his children, David (Trudi) Robinson, Marcus (Cathy) Teague, and Angela Teague; stepchildren, Ezell Turner and Lethia Wright; lifetime partner, June Johnson; grandchildren, Daisha, David, DaCayla, Mayumi, Malaya, Donell, Lamar, Jerome, Jameshia, and James; great-grandchildren, Dillon and Delaney; siblings, Dennis Teague, Kenny Teague, and Brenda Teague; and best friend, Andy Mendoza.

Leon was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Teague.

Leon's family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Hospice and Laticia Bennett for the care given to Leon.
