Lesia I. Overton, 56, of Moline, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at UPH-Trinity, Moline.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at the Salvation Army Heritage Temple Church, Moline.  Visitation will be held  one hour prior to service at the church.  Memorials may be made to the family.

Lesia was born on January 26, 1961 in Rock Island county, the daughter of Odell Brown and Mary Lou Overton.  She was an active member at the Salvation Army Heritage Temple Church, Moline, participating in multiple camps and helping with youth activities.  Lesia will be remembered as having a huge heart and always lending a helping hand to others.

She is survived by her sons, Contrell, Michael, and Tevin Overton and Tyrell and Tramere Bester; grandchildren, Isaiah Douglas and Ava Morrow; siblings, Allen Overton, Gary Overton, Theresa Babers, David Overton, Juanita Lacey, Cora Atkins, Veda Lee (Darrick) Reaves, Kendrick Lee, Wendell Carter, Kash Lee, Vernon Lee, Fredrick Lee, Candy Lee Jones, Darla King, Orville Odee (Michelle) Brown, Earl Wayne (Margaret) Brown, and Vernita Ross; and a special friend Tena Waltman.  She was preceded in death by her parents and multiple brothers and sisters.
