Linda L. Dutton, 67, of Milan, passed away on Wednesday, December 19th, 2018 at her home. Services for Linda will be 1 pm, Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan. Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2018 from 3 pm to 6 pm, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Preemption Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to CCKMA. Linda was born on March 2, 1951 in Rock Island, a daughter of James and Bette (Bennett) Beam. She married David Dutton on April 22, 1972 in Elgin, Illinois. Linda worked for Aramark, in the payroll department, retiring in October of 2016. She had previously worked at Harris Pizza and RIA Credit Union. The hobbies that encompassed Linda's life included gardening, "mushroomin", cutting grass, vacationing in Mexico and most of all, spending time with her family. Linda had a tendency to place everyone's interests before her own while carrying the burden of worrying about everything and everyone's well-being. Linda exhibited a great strength throughout her life and this strength was felt by all that loved her. Her family and friends were everything to her. The love, joy and care that she shared with them will be impossible to replace; she will be greatly missed! Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, David; children, Jennifer Dormire, Milan, and Andy (Heidi) Dutton, Milan; grandchildren, Kearstin, Morgan, Emily, Cody, Aaron, Kaden, and Caleb; siblings, Nancy Turner (Pat Bleuer), Milan, Debra (Terry) Swain, Milan and J.C. (Linda) Beam, Taylor Ridge; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents with whom she will spend all of her tomorrows gardening and vacationing.
