Linda Carolyn Hodges, 74, of Milan, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2017 in Rock Island.  Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan.  Visitation will be Thursday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island.  Memorials may be made in care of Shriners Hospitals for Children, Chicago.

Linda was born in Northampton, Pa. on November 19, 1942, a daughter of Evan G. and Mava I. Rinker Ginther.  She married Thomas F. Hodges Sr. on November 18, 1967 in Pennsylvania.

Linda was the first lady of the Kaaba Shriners, Davenport.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, crossword puzzles and playing computer games.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Thomas F. Hodges Sr., Milan; children, Thomas F. (Michelle) Hodges Jr., Davenport, Mark A. (Jodie) Hodges, Davenport, Suzanne L. (Daniel) Neilson, Rock Island and Scott L. Hodges, Peoria; grandchildren, Laura Henry and Nathan and Anna Hodges; great-grandson, Travis; and siblings, Joan (Dick) Harkins and Gary Ginther, both of Pa.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
