Linda L. Johnson, 69, of Rock Island, died Friday, April 1, 2016 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island.  Cremation rites have been accorded.  There will be no services.  Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home & Crematory, Rock Island, is assisting the family.

Linda was born in Iowa City, Iowa on Sept. 20, 1946, a daughter of Melvin and Bernice Griest.  She married John Johnson in Rock Island.  He preceded her in death after 16 years of marriage.

Linda enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune, doing crossword puzzles and making bracelets.

Survivors include her sons, Rodney Ross, Davenport and Chuck Ross, Rock Island; granddaughters, Kristina and Ashley Ross; and best friends Judy and Leann Moore.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
