Linda L. Phillips, 73, of Rock Island, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan. Private inurnment will be in Rock Island National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans.

Linda was born on March 8, 1948 in Rock Island, a daughter of Margaret L. (McCune) Ostrand. She married Larry W. Phillips on July 4, 1991 in Rock Island. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2019. Linda worked as a truck driver for 25 years. She enjoyed ceramics, working at local racetracks, shopping, and spending time with her family.

Those left to cherish Linda's memory include her children, Stacey (Tim) Terhune, Urbandale, IA, Anna Bousson, Moline, Tonya (Scott) Lambert, Texas, and Jerry (Amy) Merrill, Blaine, MN; grandchildren, Caitlin Lambert, Logan Lambert, Allie Terhune, and Feenyx; and siblings, Pamela Ostrand, Lonnie Cutkomp, Dusty (Linda) Cutkomp, Billy Cutkomp, Debbie Coverdill, Jeffrey (Marilyn) Ostrand, and Donnie (Bridgett) Ostrand; special nephew, Patrick Ostrand; and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband; and parents.
