Linda S. Roos, 69, of Milan, IL, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, July 2, 2026, of natural causes. She was born on December 18, 1956, in Davenport, IA to the late Hugh J. and Michaelene Conwell. She graduated in 1974 at Alleman High School in Rock Island, IL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark D. Verschoore, second husband, Jack Roos, and sister-in-law, Kathie (Naab) Conwell.

Linda is survived by her brother, Hugh J. Conwell of Lima, OH; sisters, Michelle Plevel of Lake Saint Louis, MO and Brenda Popp of Moline, IL; nieces, Sara Fish-Menge of Andalusia, IL, Kasey Diaz of East Moline, IL and Megan Plevel of Arvada, CO and nephew, Joseph Plevel of Nashville, TN.

Linda was a housewife that loved cooking, animals, catholic faith, and spending time with her family.

There will be a private service for the family, and she will be cremated and buried with her husband, Jack Roos in Erie, IL. Memorials may be made in care of the family.
