Linda S. Reynolds, 67, of Milan, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at her residence.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 201 E. 4th Ave., Milan.  Visitation will be held from 1 pm – 3 pm before the service.  Per her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.  Memorials may be made to the Blackhawk Area Education Center Playground Fund.

Linda was born on November 24, 1950 in Davenport, IA, the daughter of Porfirio and Amelia (Flores) Ruiz.  She married Dennis Reynolds Sr. on October 20, 1973 in Milan, he preceded her in death.  Linda worked for many years at the Rock Island County court house and at Jordan Catholic School, Rock Island.  She was an avid Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed going to the casino.  Linda took pride in her family and enjoyed spending time with them especially her grandkids.  She also enjoyed her monthly gathering with her friends, the "Goddesses."

Linda is survived by her children, Jeff (Martha) Reynolds, Jennifer (Nick) Fleming, and Jason Reynolds and his partner Stephanie Woodruff; stepson, Dennis (April) Reynolds Jr.; grandchildren, Cooper and Flynn Reynolds, Andrew "Bubs" and Addy Fleming; step grandchildren, Megan, Morgan and Alisha Reynolds; siblings, Mary Ellen Ruiz, Vickie (Arthur) Belman, Nancy Bribriesco, Valerie Ruiz, Debbie Ruiz, Donald Ruiz, and Wendy (Steven) Brandt; aunt, Janet Reyes; brother-in-law, Donald Reynolds Sr. and fiancé, Sherry Dake; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Daniel Ruiz; and brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Gloria Reynolds.
