Linda R. Spencer, 68, of Rock Island, died Thursday, November 19, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity Rock Island. Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be at Buffalo Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be made in care of the family or Grace Bible Fellowship Church, Moline.

Linda was born in Buffalo Prairie Township on December 3, 1946, a daughter of Ernest and Tyra Ruggles Bull. She married Rollin Spencer on August 18, 1968 at the Antioch Baptist Church in Reynolds, Ill.

Linda was self employed as a hair dresser for 20 years. She also spent time as a homemaker and foster parent with her husband Rollin.

Linda was a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Moline. She also sat on the boards for the Mercer County Domestic Violence and Mercer County Home Extension for many years.

Linda enjoyed knitting, cooking, reading, gardening and volunteering at church.

Survivors include her husband, Rollin Spencer, Rock Island; daughters (and spouses), Stacey (Dan) Gleason, Davenport and Laura (Rodney) Waggoner, Franklin, Tenn.; grandchildren, Chelsey (Kurt) Paslawski, Ethan Kramer and Jacob and Delia Waggoner; great-grandson, Kolton Paslawski; siblings, Glen (Barbara) Bull, Paris, Ill., Danny Bull, Aledo, Eddy Bull, Taylor Ridge, Gail Miles, Milan, Curtis (Sharon) Bull, Andalusia, Cinda Alanis, Moline and Phyllis (Mike) Larson, Wisconsin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Tommy and Jimmy Bull and infant sister, Margie Bull.
