David G. Lindquist, 54, of Milan, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014,at UnityPoint Health-Trinity, Rock Island.

Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Saturday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home,

Milan. A celebration of life service will follow at 5 p.m. at the

funeral home.

David was born on July 25, 1959, in Geneseo, the son of Stanley and

Marilyn Munter Lindquist. He was a graduate of Cambridge High School

and later graduated from Auto Technical School, Denver, CO.

Mr. Lindquist was employed at Sexton Ford as an auto body technician.

David was a member of the Hook and Bullet Conservation Club, rural

Knox County. He loved fishing, spending time at his home at Lake of

the Ozarks, the companionship of his dog, Sonya, camping, the Chicago

Bears, cooking and attending the Knoxville Sprint Car Nationals.

He is survived by his son, John Lindquist, Milan; little fishing

buddy, Annie Mae; many cousins, extended family and friends. He was

preceded in death by his parents and special friend, Denise Johnson.
