Lisa Mae Dunbar, 69, of Rock Island, IL passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023 at her home in Rock Island surrounded by her family. The family will be having a Celebration of her life from 5-10:00 PM on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at The Broadway, 2117 4th Ave Rock Island, IL. Memorials preferred to the family.

Lisa was born January 12, 1954 in Clarksdale, MS to Marshall Pass Sr. and Virginia (Golden) Pass. She was number seven of ten children.

Lisa married Larry Dunbar in 1972 in Rock Island with whom she had three daughters. Lisa worked at Servus Rubber for 32 years from where she retired in 2016.

Lisa was a woman of God and a member of Second Baptist Church in Rock Island. She enjoyed baking, bowling, dancing, music, and cooking in general. She took pleasure in baking cakes, cookies, and frying chicken to take on trips with her bowling guild, but what she enjoyed the most was spending time with her family. Any opportunity to come together as a family, she took it. "Family First"

Those left to cherish Lisa's memory include her daughters, Divia Dunbar, Tiffane Dunbar, and Monica Dunbar; six grandchildren, Shondai, Shameka, Robert, Rayvon, Jalynn, and Sentrell; a host of great-grandchildren; siblings, Willie Pass, Alma Everette, Louis Pass, Louvenia Pass, Marshall Pass Jr., Leroy Pass, Michael Pass, Frankie Pass, and David Pass; and her special dog, Mariah, who she loved so dearly.

Lisa was preceded in death by her parents; an infant granddaughter, Serenity Gray; and two infant great-grandchildren, Jodi Williams, and Raymeire Dunbar-Wilson.
