Lisa Marie Schmook, 46, of Rock Island, formerly of Buffalo, Iowa, died Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at her home. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, 3030 7th Ave., Rock Island. Visitation will be an hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Cremation rites will follow the services. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Lisa was born in Iowa City on May 6, 1968, a daughter of Donald and Rosellen Fisher Coonts. She was raised in Buffalo, Iowa. She married Westly Schmook on August 1, 1994 in Rock Island.

Lisa worked retail for K-Mart for thirteen years prior to her illness. She moved to Rock Island with Westly in September of 2010. She loved her dogs, cooking and reading.

Survivors include; her husband, Westly Schmook, Rock Island; children, Coleen Coonts, Davenport, Stacy Schmook, St. Petersburg, Fla., Westina Burns, Paulina, Iowa and Christopher Schmook, Rock Island; eight grandchildren; and one brother.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lacey and her parents.
