Lisa was born on August 10, 1955, in Corona, California. She received an AA degree from Schiller International University in Heidelberg, Germany, and finished her bachelor's degree at Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois in 1978.
Lisa lived her adult life in Taylor Ridge, Illinois. She was married to Richard Whitney between 1977 and 2001, and together they had two daughters, Kristina and Ashley. However, she was most proud of her work at IIIowa Intergroup, where she worked for 14 years as Office Manager. Upon her recent retirement, Lisa received a recognition for her dedicated service.
Lisa's friends, family, and colleagues knew her for her kindness, compassion, and love for her family, travel, and music. Many people also remember her for having a great listening ear, a positive attitude and outlook on life, and offering grace and compassion abundantly.

She is survived by her mother, Ann Marie Shelton Parker; daughters Kristina Stump (Jeremy) and Ashley Fowler (Josh); siblings Stacy Murphy (Mike) and Keith Parker (Jackie); cousin Sherry Hollis Donovan (David); and grandchildren Leanna and Mira Stump, and Franklin, Carlos, Cameron, and JJ Fowler.
