Obituary

Lois L. Coleman, 82, of Rock Island, passed away Friday December 16, 2016 at St. Anthony's Care Center, Rock Island.

A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Milan, with visitation 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday prior to services. Inurnment will be at Chippiannock Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made to Susan G. Komen Quad Cities

Lois was born July 31, 1934 in Rock Island, a daughter of Warren and Grace McCauley Lindell. She married William Coleman.

Lois worked at A.D. Huesing Corp., Rock Island, for over 30 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Chapter 168, Rock Island and the Milan American Legion Post 569 Ladies Auxiliary.

She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and Yahtzee player. She also enjoyed fishing and bingo.

Surviving are her children (and spouses), Shelley (Glenn) Hohl, Milan, Jodie Evins, Andalusia, Julie (Donald) Garrett, Milan, Greg (Cristi) Lindell, East Moline, and Pat (Jayna) Lindell, Bettendorf; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; brothers, Daniel Lindell, IL, and Billy Lindell, Florida; and a special niece, Karen Lyons, and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William; son-in-law, Roger Evins; brother, Larry Lindell; and sister, Bonnie Ewing.
