Lois D. "Darlene" Manary, 82, of Rock Island, passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at UnityPoint Health - Trinity, Rock Island. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 on Monday at Rock Island Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Rock Island. Memorials may be made in care of the family.

Lois Darlene Price was born on August 7, 1933 in Fort Madison, Iowa, a daughter of Jeanette Hoskins. She married Marvyn Manary in 1952 in Dallas City, IL. Lois worked as a seamstress at Seaford Clothing Co. in Rock Island for 33 years, retiring in 1998. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Rock Island Chapter 168 and Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and special card playing pals.

Survivors include her daughter, Marva (Martin) Hoteling, Rock Island; step-daughter, Shirley Woeckner, Sherrard; 29 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and a sister, Doris Courtney, Kahoka, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 4 step-sons: Don, Harold, Darold and Clifford Manary.
