Lonnie E. Popp Jr., 38, of Albany, Illinois, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2024, at his home.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, 3030 7th Avenue, Rock Island. Memorials may be directed to Lonnie Popp.

Lonnie was born February 7, 1986, in Davenport, Iowa, a son of Lonnie A. Popp and Marilyn (Kyseth) Miller. He graduated from Moline High School and worked at Midwest Mail Works for over 15 years. Lonnie enjoyed playing video games, listening to metal music, and fishing. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his children, Marshall, McKenzie, Mason, and Jackson Popp; stepson, Jayden Doescher; father, Lonnie (Brenda) Popp; brothers, Jesse Kyseth and Shawn Keith; and stepsisters, Kasey Diaz and Sara Menge.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his grandfather, Roland Popp; grandmother, Edie Kyseth; aunt, Chrissy Kyseth; and cousin, Raymond Still.
